What Ring Size Am I?

It's important that your ring fits perfectly for you. You can download this printable ring sizer. Just follow the instructions and you shouldn't go too far wrong, just remember to set your printer to print at 100%, otherwise it will be the wrong size!

Failing That...

You could always measure the internal diameter of a ring you already have that fits. Or wrap a piece of string around your finger and measure it.

Or you could just spent £2.50 on a ring sizer in the shop and get it right first time!

Care Of Your New Coin Jewellery

Please be aware that over time the patina on your ring will wear off. This is normal for all coin rings. Washing your ring with soap and water or using hand sanitiser will expedite the patina removal process.

I apply a thin layer of jeweller’s wax to all of my rings in order to extend the life of this patina. In order to extend the life of your ring patina even further, you can apply a thin layer of clear nail polish.

Why Does My Ring Turn My Finger Green?

This is a result of the acid in your skin mixing with the metal of the jewellery. The stain isn't harmful.
It's not just one metal — experts say several types of metals can result in a green tinge. Copper is most common, but silver and gold metals can cause discoloration too, usually due to the copper content in the alloy.

Is There Anything I Can Do To Stop My Ring Turning My Finger Green?

To prevent the green stains, you can coat your ring with clear nail polish (not my favourite method, but effective) or regularly wax the ring (this will also help protect the finish).

Care Of Your New Record Clock

Please remember the clock is hand cut and not produced by computer cutting so there may be a few irregularities and saw marks. These are just part of the charm of the piece.

As the clock is made from a record, it is quite fragile and they can warp if they get too warm, so please consider this in your choice of where you hang them.

If it needs a clean, just give it a wipe with a record cleaning cloth or a glasses cleaning cloth (that's what I use). Just be careful not to snag any of the little bits as they are easy to break.

If you manage to break a piece off, just stick it back on with some super glue, if you get it on straight you won't even notice the repair.

The hands are made from a light metal so can bend. If this happens, just straighten them out by hand and they will be fine.
